Passed away peacefully at home on 25th May 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Mary was the devoted wife of the late Peter, a much-loved and caring Mum to Stephen and Jackie, a treasured Grandma to David and Richard, and a loyal friend to so many whose lives were enriched by knowing her.

Mary’s kindness, warmth and gentle nature touched the hearts of all who met her. She dedicated her life to her family, always putting others before herself and offering love, support and encouragement whenever it was needed.

Though our hearts are heavy with sadness, we are deeply grateful for the many wonderful years, special moments and lasting memories we were blessed to share with her. Mary will be remembered not only for her love and devotion to her family, but also for her strength, compassion and the joy she brought into the lives of others.

A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held on Tuesday 23rd June 2026 at 11:00am at Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton.

Following the service, family and friends are warmly invited to join us for a celebration of Mary’s life at The Red Lion Hotel, 99 Long Street, Atherstone, CV9 1BB.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, may be made in Mary’s memory to Mary Ann Evans Hospice, whose kindness, support and exceptional care meant so much to Mary and her family during a difficult time. Mary will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed by her family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
