In Loving Memory of Ivor John Fido
24th August 1935 – 2nd September 2025
With great sadness, we announce that Ivor passed away peacefully at George Eliot Hospital on 2nd September 2025, aged 90.
A much-loved husband to Sheila, devoted dad to Yvonne, Tracey, and Karen, and a cherished grandfather, relative, and friend to many. Ivor will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A service to celebrate Ivor’s life will take place at:
Warton Holy Trinity Church on Wednesday 1st October 2025 at 12 noon, followed by a burial in the churchyard.
The family would like to warmly welcome everyone who knew Ivor to join them at Warton Club following the service to fondly share memories and celebrate his life.
Family flowers only, please.
Donations, if desired, may be made in Ivor’s memory to The Salvation Army and can be donated online.
