Denis Wilson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Denis Wilson, who passed away peacefully at Haunton Hall on 14th August 2026, surrounded by love.

Denis was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Susan (Sue) for 56 wonderful years. Their love and devotion to one another was at the heart of their family, and although saying goodbye to Denis brings immense sadness, there is comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with his beloved Sue once again.

A loving dad to Andrew and Claire, a cherished grandad to James, Benjamin, Jessica and Joshua, and a proud great-grandad to Clara and Sarah, Denis was a much-loved and treasured part of his family. He will also be deeply missed by his wider family and many dear friends.

Denis will be remembered for his kindness, warmth, strength, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. He was a special man who meant so much to so many, leaving behind a lifetime of precious memories that will be treasured forever.

A funeral service to celebrate Denis’s life will take place at Sutton Coldfield Crematorium on Thursday 10th September at 1:00pm.

Though words cannot ease the sorrow of losing someone so dearly loved, there is comfort in knowing that Denis and Sue are together again, side by side as they were for so many wonderful years.

Denis’s love, laughter and spirit will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
