It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of David Ronald Milligan, who died peacefully at home on Wednesday, 8th July 2026, aged 83 years.
David was the former proprietor of Megginson’s of Atherstone and a respected Atherstone Town Councillor. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate David’s life will be held on Monday, 17th August 2026, at 10:30am at St Mary’s Church, Atherstone, followed by burial at Atherstone Cemetery at 11:00am.
The family ask for all in attendance to dress in comfortable attire.
Following the service, all are warmly invited to join the family for refreshments at Blakes Bistro & Wine Bar, 5 Church Street, Atherstone, CV9 1AT.
