Joyce Olive Florence Whitmore

(1936–2025)

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Joyce Olive Florence Whitmore, a loving wife, devoted mum, cherished nan, and adored great nan, on 13th November 2025 at Walsgrave Hospital, aged 89 years. Joyce’s warmth, kindness, and sense of humour touched everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, 22nd December 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St Mary’s Church, Atherstone, followed by burial at Atherstone Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in memory of Joyce for Walsgrave Hospital, Ward 20, may be made via: joycewhitmore.muchloved.com or placed in the donation box as you leave the church.

After the service, all are welcome to join the family at the Conservative Club, Atherstone, to celebrate Joyce’s remarkable life.
