John Albert Sparrow

It is with great sadness, but also with gratitude for a life well lived, that we announce the passing of John Albert Sparrow, who died peacefully at home on 30 January 2026, aged 84 years, surrounded by love.

John was the much-loved and devoted husband of Pauline, and a proud and caring father to Michael, Leighton, Roselyn, Stephen and John. He was a cherished father-in-law, a treasured grandad and great-grandad, a loving brother and uncle, and a loyal friend to many.

John’s life was defined by his kindness, quiet strength, warmth, and unwavering love for his family. He will be remembered for his gentle humour, his generosity of spirit, and the countless moments of care and support he gave to those around him.

A funeral service to honour and celebrate John’s life will be held at

Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton

on Thursday 5 March 2026 at 2:00 pm.

Following the service, family and friends are warmly invited to join us for a wake to celebrate John’s life, share memories, and raise a glass in his honour at

Church End Brewery, Ridge Lane, Nuneaton, CV10 0RD.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, may be made to Mary Ann Evans Hospice, whose compassion, care, and incredible support brought great comfort to John and his close family during his final days.
