In Loving Memory of
Jennifer Wootton
13th January 1961 – 21st February 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jennifer Wootton. Jen passed away peacefully at George Eliot Hospital on 21st February 2026, with her daughter by her side.

Jen was a devoted and loving mum, and a loyal friend to so many. She will always be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and her fiery spirit. Even during the most difficult times, Jen had a remarkable ability to stay positive and bring light to those around her. She cared deeply for the people in her life and would always go above and beyond for those she loved.

A funeral service to honour and celebrate Jen’s life will be held at the Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton, on Wednesday 18th March 2026 at 10:15am.

After the service, friends and family are warmly invited to continue to celebrate Jen’s life, share memories, and raise a glass in her honour at The Acorn, Camborne Drive, Nuneaton, CV11 6GU.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, may be made to the Mercia MS Centre, a local charity where Jen attended physiotherapy for over 14 years and was a much loved member of the community. Donations can be made online using the link below or via the donations box as you leave the service.

Jen was a second mother to me and growing up offered another layer of stability, support, love and warmth. I have so many fond memories of time we spent together whether it was shopping, shifting coal, playing in parks and driving around with the roof down on the car listening to Whitney Houston (I can still smell the perfumed stones in the ash tray of the car). Growing up I had my moments and I remember taking time out of school without telling anyone and Jen tracked me down, turned up and dragged me away by my ear. It wasn’t my dad, it was always Jen who listened and gave guidance. It’s hard writing this because the truth is I can’t thank her in the way I should have and not just for the things I’ve spoken of here, but for all the little things that she did whenever I was with her. It saddens me beyond words that I’ll never have an opportunity to see or speak to her again. Thank you for everything you did for me xx
