Ann Sylvia Butler

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ann Sylvia Butler at George Eliot Hospital on 18 December 2025, aged 86 years.

A much-loved and devoted wife to the late Gordon, Ann was a wonderful and caring mum to Joanne and Mark, a cherished mother-in-law, and a proud and loving grandma to Archie and William. Ann was also a loyal friend to many, known for her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit. She touched the lives of everyone she met and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A service to celebrate Ann’s life will be held at Baxterley Village Church on Thursday 22 January 2026 at 11:00am, followed by a burial in the churchyard.

Family flowers only please, but donations if desired to Cats Protection and The Donkey Sanctuary, charities close to Ann’s heart, would be gratefully received.

Following the service, everyone who knew and loved Ann is warmly invited to join the family to continue celebrating her life at The Horse & Jockey, Coleshill Road, Bentley, CV9 2HL.
