It is with much sadness and heavy hearts that the family regret to inform of the passing of Ron Tidmarsh. Devoted husband to his late wife Lynn, Dad to David, beloved dad to Karen, grandad to Ellie, old grandad to Harry, companion to Carol, cherished father in law to Gary and grandad in law to Dan. Passed away peacefully on Friday 25th September 2026, aged 85 years. Now reunited with his beautiful wife Lynn. This page is a tribute to Ron. He is much loved and will always be remembered.
A celebration of Ron’s life
A Funeral service in celebration for Ron’s life is to take place at Polesworth Abbey on Wednesday 21st October 2026 at 11:30am followed by an interment in the churchyard where Ron will be laid to rest with his late wife Lynn. Flowers are welcome and donations if desired are in aid of Polesworth Abbey and can be made as we exit church on the day.
Following the service all are welcome to join the family for refreshments at The Spread Eagle High St, Polesworth, Tamworth B78 1DX where we can all further share our memories of Ron and raise a glass in his memory
