1936 – 2026
Marlene passed away peacefully at George Eliot Hospital on 16th August 2026, five days before her 90th birthday.
A beautiful, gentle lady, Marlene was loved by all who knew her and will be missed more than words can say. She leaves behind a huge hole in the lives of all who loved her.
She leaves her beloved husband, Tony, daughter Karen and son-in-law Mark, grandchildren Rebecca, Christopher and James, and her adored great-grandchildren Noah, Leo, Koji, Marnie, Hugo and Elijah.
She will remain forever in our hearts and will be missed greatly.
Marlene’s funeral service will be held at St Mary’s Church, Atherstone, at 10.30am on September 7th, followed by a small wake at Blakes Wine Bar, 5 Church St, Atherstone CV9 1AT.
