Rachel Maria Pryke

1968 – 2026

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Rachel Maria Pryke, who passed away, surrounded by love, on 18th August at Good Hope Hospital, aged 58 years.

Rachel was a much-loved wife, mom, sister and friend, whose warmth, kindness and love touched so many people throughout her life.

She was the devoted wife of Rob, sharing 30 wonderful years of marriage together. She was a loving mom to Sam and Ronan, and warmly welcomed their girlfriends, Chloe and Millie, into the family.

Rachel was also a much-loved sister to Nick and Andy, and a familiar and much-loved face to many through the years.

When Sam and Ronan were younger, Rachel was a big part of the Tamworth BMX Club, where she made many happy memories and became part of a community that meant so much to her and her family.

Rachel also gave more than 15 years of loyal service to Morrisons supermarket in Belgrave, where she was known and loved by many customers and colleagues.

She will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the memories she created, and the special place she held in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Most of all, she will be deeply missed by her family, who were the centre of her world.

Rachel’s funeral service will take place on:

Friday 11th September at 1:30pm, Lichfield & District Crematorium

Everyone is warmly invited to join the family in celebrating Rachel’s life.

In true Rachel style, we would love for everyone to wear something bright and colourful in her memory — a reflection of the light, love and happiness she brought into the lives of others.

Donations in Rachel’s memory will be gratefully received on behalf of the Highland Cattle Society, a cause very close to her heart because of her love for Highland cows.

Rachel may no longer be beside us, but her love will live on in the people she cherished, the memories she made, and all the little pieces of happiness she left behind.
