Stephen Kirkham

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Kirkham, who passed away at home on 30th July 2026, aged 65 years, surrounded by the love of his family.

A much-loved partner to Karen, devoted dad to Jessica and Craig, Penny and Ashley, Abigail and James, cherished grandad to Isla, Calum, Evie, Ellis, Lotty and Zara, loving brother to Steph and Andy, wonderful stepdad and grandad to Alice, Chris, Jasper, Georgie, Mabel and Rosa, and a dear uncle to Adam, Sam & Joe and friend to many.

Stephen will be deeply missed by all his family, friends and everyone who knew and loved him. He leaves behind many happy memories that will be treasured forever.

Stephen’s funeral service will take place on Friday 11th September 2026 at 11.00am at Polesworth Abbey, followed by a burial in the Churchyard.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in memory of Stephen are gratefully received for Mary Ann Evans Hospice and maybe made via the online link stephen-kirkham.muchloved.com or placed in the donation box as you leave the church.

Following the service, everyone is warmly invited to Birchmoor Working Men’s Club to raise a glass, share memories and celebrate Stephen’s life.
