Nora Elizabeth Sutton ‘Liz’

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Liz, who passed away peacefully at George Eliot Hospital on 30th June 2026, aged 71 years, with her family by her side.

Liz was the devoted and loving wife of Jim, a much-loved and treasured mum to Robert and Amy, a caring mother-in-law to Clare and Ross, a proud and adoring grandma, and a loyal friend to so many. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her kindness, warmth, generosity and unwavering love. Her gentle nature, infectious smile and caring heart will be remembered always, and she will be deeply missed by all whose lives she enriched.

A service to celebrate Liz’s life will be held on Monday 27th July 2026 at 12:45pm at St Botolph’s Church, Sibson.

In keeping with Liz’s bright spirit and in accordance with the family’s wishes, those attending are kindly invited to wear a splash of colour as we come together to celebrate a life filled with love, laughter and treasured memories.

Following the service, family and friends are warmly invited to continue sharing memories and celebrating Liz’s life at The Black Horse, 44 Main Road, Sheepy Magna,CV9 3QR
