It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of David Doughty who sadly passed away at The George Eliot Hospital on 13th April 2026, Beloved husband to Janet, devoted Dad to Lloyd, and much-loved father-in-law to Pauline, treasured Grandad Dave to Gareth & Katie and Claire & Ben, a very special Great Grandad to Taylor, Jarvis & Lacey and Jessica & Bailey.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him, but his voice, his wit, and his unforgettable personality will live on in the many memories he leaves behind.
A Funeral service to celebrate Dave’s life will take place on Friday 8th May 2026, 2pm at The Heart of England Crematorium following the service all are invited to join the family at The Lamb & Flag, Church Road, Nuneaton, CV10 8LJ for refreshments and to share further memories.
