It is with deep sadness, yet with gratitude for a life well lived, that we announce the peaceful passing of Brian, who passed away on 11 January 2026 at Bracebridge Court Care Home, aged 86 years.

Brian was a devoted and much-loved husband to Ruth, a proud and caring father to Jayne and Edward, and a treasured grandfather to Alexander. He was a kind, gentle soul whose warmth, humour, and quiet strength touched the lives of many. Brian will be remembered for his love of family, his generosity of spirit, and the comfort he brought simply by being himself.

A funeral service to celebrate and give thanks for Brian’s life will take place at The Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton, on Monday 23 February 2026 at 11:00am.

Following the service, all are warmly invited to join the family at The Red Lion Hotel, 99 Long Street, Atherstone, CV9 1BB to share memories, stories, and time together in remembrance of Brian.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, may be made in Brian’s memory to the Air Ambulance Society, either online via the link below or by using the donations box provided when leaving the crematorium.
