David Edwin Boden

9 March 1944 – 4 December 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Edwin Boden who died peacefully at George Eliot Hospital, aged 81 years.

David was a devoted and loving husband to Linda, a much-loved dad to Andrew, Libby and Duncan, a proud and caring grandad, and a loyal friend to many. He will be fondly remembered for his kindness, his quiet strength, his sense of humour, and the love he gave so freely to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral service to celebrate David’s life will take place at 2:00pm on Monday 12 January 2026 at Heart of England Crematorium.

Following the service, family and friends are warmly invited to join together in remembering David at the wake, to be held at The Old Swan, 175 Long Street, Atherstone, Warwickshire, CV9 1AH.
