It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia May Chapman, who passed away peacefully at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire on 27th September 2025, aged 86 years.
A dearly loved mum to Wayne and Mark, a wonderful mother-in-law to Carol and Tracy, a devoted nan to Lee, Kerrie, Adam, and Ben, and a proud great-nan to Riley, Alfie, George, Alfie, and Milly.
Sylvia was the heart of our family — her kindness, strength, and warm smile touched everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will be treasured forever.
A service to celebrate Sylvia’s life will be held at:
Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton
on Friday 24th October 2025 at 3:30pm
Family flowers only, please.
Donations in Sylvia’s memory are welcome and can be made online to Cancer Research UK and the Palliative Care Unit at UHCW, whose care and compassion meant so much.
