It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Stanford, who died peacefully on 14th September 2025 at the George Eliot Hospital, aged 77.
Gary was a devoted husband to Marie, a proud and loving dad to Emma, and is now reunited with his beloved daughter Donna. He was also a cherished grandad, father-in-law, neighbour, and a loyal friend to many.

He will be deeply missed for his warmth, quiet strength, and his ability to make others feel seen and supported.                                                                 His humour, his kindness, and his love of good food made him unforgettable.

A funeral service to celebrate Gary’s life will take place on Friday 26th September 2025 at 4:15pm.
After the service, we warmly invite you to The Saunders Hall, Bedworth, CV12 8RJ to share stories, laughter, and of course some of his favourite foods — because, as he always said, “you are what you eat.” Food was such a big part of his life, and it feels only right to remember him with the things he loved most.
